The Department of Civil Engineering at Kansas State University seeks to fill a 9-month term Teaching Assistant Professor position to teach engineering materials (CE 641), engineering mechanics (CE 333, CE, 530, CE 533, and CE 534), introductory civil engineering undergraduate classes, such as graphics (CE 202), etc. and to support existing research projects involving asphalt materials. The position also involves some departmental service in addition to the teaching and research aspects. A Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is required and must be conferred prior to the start of the Fall 2018 semester. A strong record demonstrating teaching experience in the field of engineering mechanics and materials as well as demonstrated experience with asphalt research is preferred. Screening of applications will begin on April 28, 2018 and continues until the position is filled.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000
