The Center for Student Inclusiveness is now hiring for a Director of African American Student Initiatives!
Northern Kentucky University is a public, four-year, regional comprehensive university located near Cincinnati, Ohio. Just across the Ohio River, in Highland Heights, Kentucky, the campus rests on 350 acres of rolling countryside. The university enrolls approximately 15,000 students who represent 43 states and 72 foreign countries. The university offers over 60 bachelors, 6 associate and, 17 graduate degree programs.
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, the Director of African American Student Initiatives will provide administrative leadership for all aspects of the design and implementation of services and programs that promote the success and retention of African American students on campus. The Director of African American Student Initiatives acts as a liaison with administration, faculty, students and community leaders. This position will provide a key role in advising the Administration and making recommendations on policy and procedures involving African American students on campus and provide input on the implications of policies affecting African American recruitment and retention.
