Position Summary:

This position will supervise, schedule, prioritize, and assign the work of the IPF Setup Crew. Manages small, medium, and large complex moves. Assists special events with needed support. Oversees installation, removal, storing, and transporting of commercial office furniture, lab equipment, gym equipment, athletic flooring systems, and classroom furniture. Supervises, schedules, and dispatches moving team, laborers, students, temporary, and contracted employees. Prepares estimates of moving costs and labor hours. Maintains inventory of moving equipment, vehicles, tools, and supplies. Communicates via email, phone, and text with customers, project managers, interior designers, athletic department personnel, and special events, to formulate schedule, personnel, scope, and solutions to variables. Insures customers complete satisfaction with work being performed. Procures supplies, materials, equipment, parts, and labor as necessary. Performs or assigns repairs to furniture systems. Reads install plans, prints, diagrams, and sketches. Trains staff to safely move, pack, unpack, load, and unload, customers belongings by utilizing all proper moving techniques. Insures staff uses extreme care not to damage goods or facilities. Promotes safety and uphold safety procedures and policies. Coordinate fleet and equipment maintenance to ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and mechanically sound manner. Processes charges and assigns work using multiple modules in FAMIS. Must be proficient with Microsoft outlook, excel, word, and power point.

Work with union representatives to manage labor relations issues by discussing contract administration, inquiries, grievances and general information; manage project budget's and schedules; assist in reviewing departmental budgets and develop financial projections and expenditures of funds; participate in long-range planning for departmental operations; respond to emergencies, inquiries and complaints from campus customers;
