Job Purpose: Plan and direct the services of the Women's Resource Center within the Division of Student Life. The Center offers information, support, advocacy, training and other services aimed at creating an inclusive and supportive campus environment for women. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.
Major Responsibilities:


• Organize and supervise ongoing student activities and programs provided by and through the Center.
• Conduct assessments of campus climate and program needs for women.
• Oversee the providing of information on women's issues including health, academic opportunities, safety and career options.
• Plan and implement a variety of support programs that result in understanding and responsiveness to women's issues on campus.
• Direct and implement training programs directed at women's issues.


Preferred Qualifications:
• Preferred Education: Master's degree in Student Development, Higher Education or Women’s and/or Gender Studies
• Preferred Work Experience: Five to seven years or more of relevant experience in a University setting

• Preferred Skills: working knowledge of university level student affairs/student life organization and administration. Specific skills in program development and administration related to culturally responsive programs and services to meet the needs of a diverse campus

Additional Information: Student Life on Call emergency response rotation: availability to respond to calls after hours 1-2 weeks a semester (6 times a calendar year); The Division of Student Life is committed to Multicultural Competency. This position will be responsible and held accountable for implementing the Division’s Multicultural Competence Plan at the individual, departmental and Divisional level.

Impact & Influence: This position will interact on a consistent basis with: students, parents, faculty, staff and community representatives. This position typically will advise and counsel: students, parents, faculty, staff and community representatives. This position will supervise: Women's Resource Center staff.
