Become a MemberMember Types There are four types of membership in the Consortium: two membership types for organizations and two membership types for individuals. Individual and Institutional memberships are appropriate for institutions of post-secondary education and individuals affiliated with them, including staff, faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students. Affiliate and Affiliated Organization memberships are appropriate for individuals and organizations interested in the work of the Consortium but not directly involved with post-secondary education. Some current Affiliated Organizations include the Human Rights Campaign, the American Dental Education Association, national fraternal organizations, and more. Many of our current Affiliate members are consultants, external educators, and former higher education administrators who now work in other fields. Organization memberships (Institutional and Affiliated Organization) provide specific, unique benefits and privileges for the member institution/organization, as well as provide a number of Linked memberships for individuals within the institution/organization. Individuals whose membership is through a Linked membership will only be considered active members if they continue to be employed by or supported by the organization holding the organizational membership. Individual memberships (Practitioner and Affiliate) provide non-transferable membership status to the individual membership holder, regardless of affiliate, employment, etc. with another organization (even if an organization pays the dues on behalf of the individual).
*Additional linked memberships may be purchased at cost. ** Community Colleges and Minority-Serving Institutions - please contact the Consortium at [email protected] before completing the membership registration in order to access this price point. Member Benefits: Member rights and benefits outlined in this table are subject to regular change as the organization grows and shifts in serving members.
