The Department of Social Work at Minnesota State University, Mankato (MNSU) has two openings for full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professors of Social Work. Minnesota State is a comprehensive, regional Masters-level public university located in Mankato, Minnesota. Mankato is a vibrant, award-winning small city located in the Minnesota River valley, just 90 minutes southwest of Minneapolis.

Faculty position #1 (AA20021) is principally assigned to the MSW Program, although the faculty member will teach and advise in the BSSW program, as well. MNSU’s MSW Program is advanced generalist with an emphasis on practice in rural and small community settings. We are seeking applicants with strong clinical social work practice experience and evidence of effective teaching at the college level. The posting can be found on the attached link:

Faculty position #2 (AA20024) is principally assigned to the BSSW Program and seeks candidates with strong direct practice skills and interest in field education. This position announcement is in the process of being posted and will be available on the following website within the next few days. It will be advertised as position AA20024.
