The Operations and Technology Coordinator is a full time, position that provides operational and technical support to the Division of Student Affairs, particularly in the areas of housing and case management. This position requires technical acumen to manage various information technology systems utilized by the Division including; RMS housing database software, Maxient file management system, Expression Engine website content management software and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and data management tools (e.g. Informer). Excellent communication skills to interact with various University stakeholders (primarily other administrative units).

Specifically, the Coordinator will:

Manage student housing and meal plan assignment records in the RMS system.
· Under the direction of the Dir. of Residence Life, maintain and distribute accurate housing rosters, reports, and figures
· Process housing and meal plan assignments, changes, and withdrawals
· Manage housing applications, placements, and waitlists
· Process various housing items such as break housing requests, damage assessments, and other miscellany
· Assist Dir of Residence Life in database development (RMS software)

Manage reports and student records in the Maxient system.
· Under direction of the DOSD, process incident reports, case assignment, scheduling, and correspondence
· Assist the DOSD with data to support timely follow-up and resolution of cases
· Produce regular reports on student case management data
· Assist DOSD in database development (Maxient software)

Maintain content of Student Affairs divisional web and portal pages.
· Coordinate Divisional webpage content updates with Marketing and Communications
· Maintain University “How Do I?” site in collaboration with various administrative units
· Manage Residence Life and Housing webpages with updated information

Support divisional student data/information needs.
· Retrieve data and maintain information reports from various sources (e.g. Colleague, RMS, Maxient) utilizing current University data systems (e.g. Informer)
· Manage divisional survey efforts (e.g. EBI student satisfaction, in-house Survey Monkey surveys)
· Maintain Divisional email accounts (e.g. [email protected]) and refer to appropriate staff
· Stay current on updates to University data systems and processes

Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in IT or other closely related field
· Candidates with a non-IT Bachelor’s degree will be considered if they have prior relevant experience with IT Certifications or hands-on IT experience/expertise
· Demonstrated technical acumen/experience with complex IT systems
· Experience analyzing and synthesizing data from various sources
· Familiarity with HTML language
· Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment
Evidence of excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in a higher ed setting
· Previous role in student affairs, housing, etc. is desirable
· Experience with IT systems referenced in position description
