UCLA is conducting a nationwide search for a new position, Academic Administrator for Disability Studies.
The Academic Administrator engages with UCLA faculty and campus partners and incorporates the national trends in the field in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of the Disability Studies pedagogy at UCLA. In addition, the Academic Administrator provides teaching to meet the needs of the growing Disability Studies Minor.
Qualifications: PhD in a related discipline with scholarship and teaching relevant to the topic of disability; college-level teaching experience; knowledge of interdisciplinary instruction; understanding of teaching technologies and new pedagogical research and techniques; strong leadership and interpersonal skills to bring together faculty, graduate student instructors, and other academic personnel in collaborative projects.
